History
The bank incorporated as a California state-chartered banking corporation on August 6, 2003 under the name "Golden State Business Bank," and commenced operations on December 1, 2003. On April 15, 2008, the name was changed to "Golden State Bank."
Golden State Bank continues to be a locally-owned and operated community bank headquartered in Upland, California with an additional regional office located in Brea, California.
The bank was opened to promote growth in the local economy and to offer a wide-range of banking services including those specifically responsive to the unique financial needs and opportunities of the business community in the markets it serves.
